Home Hunting and Visit to Kirkstall Abbey

I finally got to visit Kirkstall Abbey this week, one of the finest examples of 12th Century Abbeys in the UK. The ruins are remarkably well preserved, for a history buff like me (I’m currently studying History at Leeds University) it is incredible to walk round the site imagining yourself into the past, which is made all the more easier by the very helpful staff dressed in extremely authentic  looking Medieval monk costumes. The grounds are beautifully landscaped; Mandy and I had a picnic before crossing the road to have a look at the Abbey House Museum.  We were in the city to move out of our current house and into the new place Leeds letting agents had found for us, which is a lot nicer than the cosmeticdentistryguide.co.uk/teethwhitening.html letting agents put forth last year. It all ran smoothly really and the day out at Kirkstall Abbey gave Mandy and I the opportunity to discuss our futures together after Uni is over, something we’ve both been thinking about but have shirked the need to speak about it until now. We need to take things slow, but we both agree we want to stay together when we start out on our respective career paths.
